At San Juan College, we’re committed to supporting your success—whether you're testing on campus or online. SJC uses multiple modes of testing, we break it down into two categories. How you take your exam for your course will depend on your instructor. Please reach out to your instructor if you have questions about which of these options applies to your specific course.

Our two main modes of testing are:

  • Canvas
  • Testing Center

Testing in Canvas

Canvas Quizzes

Some instructors may use the built-in Canvas Quizzes tool for assessments. These quizzes are typically unproctored and can be accessed directly within your course—just follow the instructions and due dates provided by your instructor.
